31.05.2009 Cancescu, president of the district of Brasov in Romania, accused at the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg


Don Demidoff, president of the "League for the Renaissance of Moral Standing" and president of the foundation "Casa Don Bosco", has been fighting against corruption for 20 years. On May 15, the president of the foundation Casa Don Bosco has complained about the conditions in the Administration of Child Protection in Brasov at Cancescu being the president of the supervisory authority. Main issue of the complaint was the president and district secretary Mariana Tiharau and her kind of administration. Already 1993 she planned to close the children's home for street children Don Bosco, because the priest Don Demidoff took in boys and girls together in one house, contrary to the communist concept still predominant back then. She therefore called the Father perverse. Don Demidoff has already described the practices of this "lady" in his book "Priest of Thorns", for in court she indicated other fictional reasons for the requested closure. Without any success, for she has been remained a communist until today. She has been in office for 19 years, does not have the slightest pedagogical experience and has always changed the party according to the color of the government, for the fourth time now. It is proven that M. Tiharau belongs to the SRI, the former Securitate. Among others the media suspected her to have sold children from her area to Italy, i. e. illegally given up for adoption . Already then Father Don Demidoff struggled against this "lady" by taking legal action against her. Already then the court in Brasov was refused due to conflict of interest and transferred to Buzau. The defendant shirked and did not appear at the hearing and lost the suit filed by herself. But as said before she still is in office until today. Only simple minds do not believe in bribe money and the power of her knowledge about the district council members. Concerning the current matter the president of the district has remained silent for months and the finally left the answer to just this "lady", because she is responsible. That is the way like it is in Romania. Imagine you report a thief to the police, the police however refers the aggrieved party back to the thief, because he is responsible. Even the competent judge at the first competent court reacted exceptionnally aggressive to the claim of the lawyers of the foundation. Don Bosco had got answer and that had to be enough. A clear case of a transparent conflict of interest. I. e. like described in the comparative case: the thief is responsible. The "Curtea Suprema Contencios Administrativ", the Romanian supreme court for such proceedings, relieved the court in Brasov of the proceedings with decision Nr. 4697 of December 4, 2007, and transferred it to the court in Buzau as well. There the claim of Don Demidoff was dismissed. Now the court in Strasbourg, which of course is not corrupt, will deliver a jugdment.
